PRESS RELEASE of 12/09/99
MO.CO.VA. (Second Vatican Council Movement) officially met “Vocatio”, the national movement of married priests, during three days of studies and fraternal relationships from 27th to 29th August, in Genzano, on the hills of the Roman Castles.
In view of the Jubilee of the year 2000 a common proposa was made to the Pope asking for the abolition of ecclesiastic celibacy, in order to get back its spiritual and human value, beyond law and right.
The MO.CO.VA. underlined utmost the importance of evangelic dreams and of christian prophecies.
In this way the Italian catholic dissent presents the same image and contents.
