The prophet, at the time still a novice Jesuit, made the prophecy to the cardinal: “You will not be pope”.
In a moment of vacillation the prophet looked at the sky and vehemently plead with God: “Give me a resounding sign”. There was lightning and it thundered and rained for three days and three nights. The farmers were amazed: there had never been such an intensity and length of those phenomena, as far as they remembered.
