Nichi Vendola: “I feel nostalgia of the II Vatican Council, of a Church that meets history, not to beat it but to show the way, educate and lead it. But with the caress of God,  and not with the  whip of the dogma and the doctrine”. About the family day: “…the Gospels are full of whipping words against familism”.

The faith without any mystics is cold and sterile. Mystics without any faith is a molassa.

The greatest spiritual satisfaction of the carthusian, at the end of his life: his contribution to the Truth and Well, the good Truth and Well. If God did not exist, the Truth and Well would. If God did not exist, then God would.

Inter-religious meeting in Assisi, for which everybody praises Wojtyla. But Karol would have never taken part in a meeting officiated by the Dalai Lama.

At last  Wojtyla is unmasked thanks to Ratzinger: all his ideological pus drips through the sumptuous bandages of his pontificate unilaterally, obscenely human, phallic  also in the final and painful sequence of his life. The Middle Age is far more respectable and spiritual. Than its Polish sample.

I have not read the book by Ratzinger about Jesus yet, but I already feel the intimate coldness in my bones.

The truth and the humanity above democracy, above this slave democracy. Above, and if necessary, against.
