I strongly believe, unlike the most qualified exegetes, that Jesus did not believe in the imminence of the Reign, but he adopted and valued the eschatological -apocalyptical ideas of His time.
He, the absolute Truth, could not make any mistakes about the relative truth. Unlike the Holy Scripture.
What Karl Rahner says is simply risible: Jesus Christ, as a man believed in the imminence of the Reign, while as God he felt how much it would last.
This kind of schizophrenic Christology is at least worth of a puzzle-solving. Not to say of jokes.
