Teilhard de Chardin: “God does not make things, He makes things happen for themselves”. Against absolute evolutionism .

Metaphysics is never physics. Transcendental causality is never empiric causality. The existence of God is a legitimate and serious reasoning but not incontrovertible. In the last resort it is result of faith.

Prophecy about the death of Andreotti, unfulfilled. What matters is not the chronicle but the story the big prophecy is about.

Resurrection absorbs and pulverizes the probable self deception of Jesus, who on the wake of Saint John the Baptist, thought the end of the world was about to come.

Not the interior composure but the deep enthusiasm characterises the Christian’s psychic life.

A Resurrected one, who in his life got self deceived, is, despite a self deception, worth of faith. Faith, in fact, focuses on the essential, not the timeliness. Eschatology is not eschatological chronology.

Lord, pardon me if sometimes I mix Your things with mine. Who can escape from the forse of their own unconscious? Nor You, deceived by Yourself and the contemporary culture, near the end. But this cultural fallibility makes You human, better makes You as the Embodied One.

Also the prophet in his rare self deceptions is discharged by his real humanity.
