Demons and the damned are spiritual realities. And this is the absurd: the spirit is capable of unimaginable brutalization. The sound is capable of distorting in noise, the wing in the blade, the light in shit. The Carthusian’s soul goes back from the nauseated hell up to the venous stomach. Better: stunned by so much vulgarity and spiritual stupidity. It is not a question of verbal but real vulgarity, of mental but substantial stupidity. Yes. This is the point: spiritual vulgarity and stupidity.

In the face of Hell, God remains free to respect the right of Hell to remain Hell. In His mercy he is able to contravene the Infernal Right. Turning the desert into eden, death in life belongs to the biblical God. Yes. God’s mercy is paradoxical. Wonderfully transgressive, even violent. The same that dazzles and unsuccessfully Paul of Tarsus. The same that kidnaps Elias.

In the word of Jesus in Hell is the unsaid and dicible. The Spirit, after Me, will tell you the whole truth.
