EVANGELIC AND ECUMENIC INTERNATIONAL CENTRE MIRYAM OF NAZARETH

Catholicism has finally become synonymous with Ecumenism. The lesson of the Vatican Council II is giving its results: the christian churches are all on the same level. See for instance rhe authoritative presence of Cardinal Walter Kasper, new president of the Council for the Christians’ unity.
But let us have a look at the account: since I am representative of MO.CO.VA.(Vatican Council II Movement), in October 1999 I took part in the International Congress “We are church”(Imwac), in Santa Severa (Roma), in the Evangelic Centre “Youth Village”. In this atmosphere of international friendship, as a catholic, I conceived the idea of giving, to the Confederation of Evangelic Churches, my huge property in the countryside of Monopoli (Ba): a plantation of olive, cherry and almond trees, whit a farm-house, to be restructured and widened.
At the end the project became a noun:Evangelic and Ecumenic International Centre Miryam of Nazareth. With these two essential consequences:

a) Catholics, fot the first time in their history, give a property of theirs to protestants;
b) Protestants, for the first time as well, name a centre after Jesus’s Mother.
I would like to thank my mother Franca, my brother Mauro and my sister Luciana for their warm complicity; but mostly
I want to thank my father, who has blessed this initiative with his nicest and warmest smile.

This work, that brings the Stigma of the Spirit and of the Virgin Mary, be my declaration of love to a good and just man. Noble oak that bears peach blossoms.
