The letter of the senator for life Francesco Cossiga against the bishop of Caserta, father Raffaele Nogaro,
accused of “poor doctrine”, of abuse of power, of teaching falsehood, of violation of the rights of conscience,
raises amazement and indignation.
I applaud with all of myself the following statements of Nogaro:
a) This war is “bad and silly”.
b) It is made to “participate in the proceeds of victory”.
c) “Catholics should never vote for war, but only for peace”.
All my love and all my esteem go to the bishop Nogaro.
I honor him as the man of the Gospel, light-years away from all those non-Christian Catholics, who today are
barking against the stars.
