For the Gay Pride, held in Bari from the 3rd to the 7th June, the following release was distributed, and it was issued on all the italian gay sites:
The MO.CO.VA.( Vatican Concil II Movement) fraternally greets the participants in the Gay Pride.
We believe that the same omosexual sexuality is a huge gift from God, to be lived with dignity, seriousness and monogamous engagement.
The Bible is also word of men, it houses their mistakes and their prejudices. Jesus in his Gospel never took any position against the gay, but against sexual disorder.
To my gay brothers and lesbian sisters our warmest encouragement.
