The MO.CO.VA.(II Vatican Council Movement) finds it very serious that the Holy See has appointed as archbishop of Bologna a fundamentalist, in the person of father Carlo Caffarra.
The renowned prelate, in the convention of the Italian Sports Centre, totally condemned the entire contemporary laichal culture, from philosophy to physics, indicating as “bad masters” Umberto Eco and Gianni Vattimo.
We, as opposed, with the II Vatican Council take sides for the dignity of the conscience and of the mind.
Faith and moral must never be imposed nor by any means demanded.
At the same time we wish to express our gratitude to Gianni Vattimo for his support towards our founder,father Franco Ratti, who took part in national newspaper headings against the camorra and the silence of Cardinal Giordano, for a church of prophets and martyrs.
